Duke is the Founding Member of Longton Flyball Cub and the teams are named after him. Sandra used to have lots of fun running him and he loved the sport but due to bilateral hip dysplasia he unfortunately had to retire. Duke gained his Flyball Dog Award with previous team Haughton Lights at The British Flyball Championships in August 2011. Unfortunately Duke passed away in October 2015 with a huge brain tumour but his spirit lives on in his sisters Clover and Lily, brother Storm and his teams.

Clover is the club's Founding Diva. She started enjoying flyball in Febraury 2012 but didn't get much training as she taught herself by watching her big brother Duke when she was a puppy. She started sanctioned tournaments in April 2013 and has gained her Flyball Dog Award in May 2013, her Intermediate Flyball Award in June 2013, her Graduate Award in September 2015, her Advanced Award in May 2017 and her Silver award in 2019. She loves to beat the other dogs including the ones in her own team.

Jack and Duke have been team mates for years and he is run by owner Sandra. Jack joined the club when it first started in October 2011 to train until we had an open team. He then officially joined the club and teams in January 2013. Jack gained his Flyball Dog Award in February 2011, his Intermediate Award in July 2011, his Graduate Award in July 2012, his Advanced Award in November 2012 and finally gained his Silver Award in August 2015 and is the first and only dog at the club to gain it.

Charlie joined the club in October 2012 and is run by his slave Lisa. Charlie likes to scream and certainly likes to cause a challenge when it comes to his box turns. Charlie gained his Flyball Dog Award in May 2013 and his Intermediate Award in August 2013, his Graduate Award in October 2014, his Advanced Award in May 2016 and finally his Silver Award in May 2019 and is the first Spaniel to earn this at the club. Charlie became Division 17 British Flyball Champion in August 2014.

Buddy joined the club in September 2013 and is run by his owner Phoebe the Katie Price of flyball. Buddy gained his Flyball Dog Award in June 2014, his Intermediate Award in May 2015, his Graduate Award in May 2016, his Advanced Award in May 2017 and his Silver Award in July 2018. Buddy is known as the "favourite" and is awesome at everything in Phoebe's eyes. He has been apart of the team that has broken the club record several times. Buddy was apart of the Crufts team in March 2019.

Doug joined the club in September 2013 and is run by his owner Jayne. Doug came to his first training session and stood in the middle of the lane barking at all the dogs. After some homework and lots of hard work by Jayne and Doug's favourite Uncle Paul he has now become a fantastic, consistent flyball dog. Doug gained his Flyball Dog Award in June 2014, his Intermediate Award in June 2015 and his Graduate Award in August 2016. Doug was apart of the team that won at The Championships in 2014.

Merlin joined the club in December 2013. He was rescued by his owner Phoebe and is Buddy's brother. The first time we met Merlin was at a funday and he took to flyball straightaway. Merlin has taken his time going into open as he believes in going as fast as he can even if it means going round. He gained his Flyball Dog Award in July 2015, his Intermediate Award in 2016, his Graduate Award in May 2017 and Advanced Award in September 2017. He was apart of the Crufts team in March 2019.

Brooke joined the Club in February 2014 and is run by her owner Simon. She is ball obsessed and after every run she skids across the floor to get every ball that may be lying around whether it's hers or not. She gained her Flyball Dog Award in June 2015, her Intermediate Award in May 2016 and her Graduate Award in June 2018. She is also British Flyball Champion of Division 44 2015.

Storm is Duke and Clover's younger brother and officially joined the club in May 2014. Storm is run by Sandra. Storm will do anything for his motivator which is a frisbee and he runs like the wind for it. Storm gained his Flyball Dog Award in May 2015, his Intermediate Award in May 2016, his Graduate Award in September 2016, his Advanced Award in September 2017 and his Silver Award in March 2019. He was apart of the Crufts team in March 2019.

Dexter joined the club in May 2014 and is run by his Grandad Rob. Dexter has taken to flyball as fast as his Dad Charlie did. He has been apart of our flyball family from the beginning as him and Storm have grown up together. Dexter gained his Flyball Dog Award in May 2015, his Intermediate Award in August 2015 his Graduate Award in September 2017 and his Advanced Award in March 2019. He is British Flyball Champion of Division 44 2015.

Flynn was rescued in May 2014 and joined the club officially in August 2014 and is run by his owner Dennis.. Flynn has his own mind and will do his runs then do lots of laps of honour and show all the other dogs how much fun they can have running round with him but slowly he is now working with swinging off his tug with Dennis in tow. Flynn is working hard in an open lane and in time he'll be going into open.

Peggy-Sue joined the club in November 2014 along with her sister Jess and is run by her owner Jo. Peggy-Sue is rather stubborn and does not like to turn on a box but she does it her way with style. She's a consistent girl and we are proud of how she runs. Peggy-Sue earned her Flyball Dog Award in May 2016, her Intermediate Award in May 2017, her Graduate Award in August 2018 and her Advanced Award in May 2019.

Monty joined the club in November 2015 and is run by his owner Sam. Monty is the happiest boy around and loves to run especially with his long tongue hanging out but sometimes he likes to run a bit too much and wants to do the other dogs runs, Sam's sister has now become his PA with the motivator.

Bailey joined the club in February 2016 and is currently run by Tania. When Bailey first joined our flyball family he would only run for his young owner Thomas but has now decided he loves to run and will let Tania run him. Bailey apparently only liked netting yet he earned his Flyball Dog Award in May 2017, his Intermediate in July 2017, Graduate Award in May 2018 and his Advanced in July 2018.

Whispa joined the club with her sister Pepper in March 2016 and is run by Nick. Whispa is very tug motivated and forgets about holding her ball at times and when Nick doesn't let her tug she certainly lets him know by barking and playing catch me if you can. Nick was thrown into running Whispa and now enjoys the sport just as much as Jenny. Whispa has proved she can hold her ball by gaining her Flyball Dog Award in June 2017 and her Intermediate Award in March 2019.
