![]() DUKE The Founding Member!Duke was the founding member of Longton Flyball Club and all of the BFA team names are named after him. Duke loved flyball but most of all tennis balls. He gained his Flyball Award in August 2011 at The British Championships. He retired a few times due to bilateral hip dysplasia but never fully retired from training but unfortunately unknown to Paul and Sandra he had a huge brain tumour and past away in October 2015. He will always be a true Longton Flyball legend and forever in our hearts xx | ![]() SARA & JASPER!Jasper joined the club in June 2012 with his best friend Hades and owner Sara. Jasper enjoyed many competitions in starters and was on his way to competing in Sanctioned tournaments. Unfortunately Sara passed away in February 2015 but her, Jasper and Bryn will always be apart of the club and forever in our hearts. | ![]() BRYN So Soft & Gentle!Bryn joined the club officially in February 2014 and was run by his owner Sara. Bryn had a go at flyball in June 2013 at a fun dog show and went to his first competition in October 2013 before even attending a training session. Bryn had alot of fun with Sara. He may look big but he's got a heart of gold and wouldn't hurt a fly. Unfortunately Sara passed away in February 2015 but her, Bryn and Jasper will always be apart of the club and will forever be in our hearts. |

![]() ROXY! The Tummy Rub Star!Roxy joined the club with her owner Sue in March 2012 and was the first official member who had never done flyball before. Roxy was a true ball obsessed girly but was determined to stay in starters but after a lot of hard work she finally earned her first flyball points in September 2015 and Sue made the decision to retire her at the age of 9 as she had proved how much she loved the sport and that she could compete in sanctioned tournaments. Sadly Roxy passed away in October 2022. | ![]() ROSIE! The Shy Diva!Rosie was the second official member to join in March 2012 with her owner Catherine. Rosie was very shy and scared of so much including Paul and the box but we worked hard with her and Catherine to turn her into an amazing flyball girl. She always barked with excitement at being in the ring and loved being able to race and even went to The British Flyball Championships several times. She earned her Flyball Dog Award in September 2013. Rosie retired in 2017 and she passed away in October 2022. | ![]() JESS! That Balls Mine!Jess was a rescue dog and joined the club in November 2014 along with her sister Peggy-Sue and was run by her owner Jo. Jess didn't like to go in any other position other than lead as she would chase after another dog to claim their ball hers as she is very ball obsessed. Jess competed in open competitions and earned her only points in July 2016 but as she was a rescue and we are not sure how old she is the decision was made to retire her in 2017. Sadly she passed away in July 2020. |
![]() PEPPER! It's My Ring!Pepper joined the club in March 2016 with her sister Whispa and was run by her owner Jenny. Pepper has sight problems so used to like to let everyone know she was around and can see what trouble they were causing including the other handlers. Pepper earned her Flyball Dog Award in May 2017 and Intermediate Award in July 2018. Pepper unfortunately was diagnosed with Spondylosis in her spine so the decision was made to retire her from open in September 2018 and starters in May 2019 back at Sutton. | ![]() Club LogoDescribe your image. | ![]() 90096290[1]Describe your image. |
